Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: On the second day of his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts on Tuesday, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar stated that he was not engaging in disputes with the opposition or responding to their claims, as the party has a multitude of welfare programs and development projects to showcase. Addressing a query regarding Union minister Nitin Gadkari's criticism of the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his lack of knowledge about Gadkari's statement. He mentioned that the state budget he has presented ten times includes adequate funding for the aforementioned scheme and other development endeavors. Upon returning to Mumbai, Pawar intends to speak with Gadkari to understand the rationale behind his remarks.

During the day, Pawar spoke at a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, emphasizing the government's dedication to comprehensive progress for all communities and urging backing for the Mahayuti alliance in the forthcoming assembly elections. He underscored that his party upholds its commitment to secular values, running the administration based on the principles of important historical figures. Pawar stressed that the NCP-led government prioritizes the welfare of all social groups, irrespective of caste, religion, region, or language.

Pawar highlighted the "Jan Sanman Yatra," a state-wide program aimed at increasing awareness about government schemes. Mentioning the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana, which offers financial assistance to industrious women with funds directly deposited into their bank accounts, Pawar also discussed other initiatives such as free education for girls, waiving electricity bills for farmers, and a crop insurance plan for a nominal fee. He noted additional benefits such as a milk subsidy and increased honorarium for various roles within communities.

Pawar reiterated the government's commitment to inclusive development and welfare for all segments of society. He mentioned that if the Mahayuti receives support in the upcoming elections, all these plans would be carried out for the next five years. "I urge you to support us and provide strong backing to Mahayuti in this election," he stated.
